Technician was quick, professional and also drove my keys over to where I was working. Amelia lock and key really came through when another company did not. I originally called another company called Eli lock and key (do not use) and they had me sitting for 2 hours trying to get a key to work and then they just gave up and left. I had to go to work so I took an Uber and called Amelia lock and key to help. They got the job done and like I mentioned the tech drove my keys to me which I thought was pretty convenient. The cost is higher then the other competitors, but you get what you pay for.

Why am I not surprised that when I got on here to give them a review all reviews were 5* and most wanted to give 6. My son's girlfriend gave birth to my second grandchild today. After three days of ups and downs we discovered that she had accidentally locked the keys in the car after driving to the emergency room. I called John and he was there and had the door open in less than ten minutes. He was so kind and I will forever be a customer! Thank you for bringing even more sunshine into my day today! Chipped keys for modern vehicles are not cheap to replace, but Amelia Lock and key saved me money and time. In fact my dealer cannot make keys locally and has to order keys from the manufacturer. Amelia Lock and key made mine while I waited.

Locked our keys in our car and after being jacked around by our complementary road side assistance for 2 hours, I called these guys who showed up in 20 mins and had us in our car in less than a minute. Very courteous, set proper expectations, and was very reasonable as far as price.

Like an idiot I locked my daughter in the car at the beach on New Years Day. I had it running but it only stays on for ten minutes without the keys in the ignition. I called panicking and he was calm and came right away. He was there faster than the gps said he would be. He was very efficient and understanding. I was locked out of my rental. I was helped within 20 minutes. Uf my jemmkeys were in trunk n button to unlock trunk was disabled from alarm. Tg locksmiths in fernandina r fraternal n other locksmith cut me a key for 125 to resolve. It was expensive but could've been much more and I'm truly grateful. 100% good ppl.

My ignition switch went out in my truck & for my model truck you cant buy a new one that comes with a new key, so you have to have the tumblers set to your old key. Plus I was told by multiple mechanics that the entire steering column had to be taken apart to replace it & was going to cost me close to $900 to fix it while other mechanics refused to even touch it. I continued to call around & one person I spoke to suggested calling a locksmith. Amelia Lock & Key instantly agreed to help & was very flexible on when & where he could meet me. Not only did he re-key my new ignition switch & charge me a fair price but he gave me the info (that I couldnt find anywhere else) to fix my truck myself & saved me a lot of money. They were SUPER comforting and helpful! On a late night beach adventure I lost my keys and wallet (they are connected) the guys at amelia lock and key not only talked me through everything and made me feel better but took payment from my mother over the phone (since all of my cards were now presumably floating in the ocean). Hopefully you never need to call them but these are most definitely the guys to call when you are in a bind!

Had an issue with a locked filing cabinet for my dad who has dementia and could not remember where the key was kept. They came to his condo, spent several minutes trying to open the cabinet, then went back to their shop and made a key (and a backup key) to open it! When I asked how much I owed him he said to tell my dad, a retired Marine, "Semper Fi" and then did not charge him (or me) a dime!

After we spent the day in Jacksonville and were about to drive into our Condo complex I thought to myself I don't think I took the keys when we left this morning! I asked my husband if he happened to grab the keys and unfortunately he said No! First I tried to find the number of the Owners of the Condo, but that was also locked up. I then went to Yelp and called the #1 Rated Locksmith which was Amelia Lock and Key! He said he would be here in 6 or 7 minutes! He actually beat us to the door which was puzzling since we had to walk in because of the gate. He had us in within minutes. When we asked how he got in without coming through the gate at first he said he was magic, but then come to find out he lived in the same Condo Complex where we were staying! I wish I could give Mr. Crowe 6 stars. He got to me within hours, as it was not an emergency.  He called me back in minutes.  And re-keyed two locks in 15 minutes and made 12 keys.  He doesn't take cards, so have cash or check on hand.  All told, this guy is the best.  Call him.

Can't say enough about these guys. Unprecedented response time, professionalism, expertise, and customer service. We called Mr. Crowe at 9:30 p.m. when our guests were locked out from our beach condo. He answered the phone and was on the scene in ten minutes, diagnosed the problem and got our guests in within minutes. Mr. Crowe turned what would ordinarily be a miserable, hopeless situation into a damn near enjoyable experience. Highly, highly recommended!
